Home of the Eagles!
Chatelech Secondary School - Home of the Eagles

Modified August Start-Up
"The SCTA has notified the School District that teachers continue to be on strike and that picket lines at our schools will resume this Wednesday, August 27th. The planned School Start-Up Activities for Wednesday to Friday (August 27th to 29th) have been postponed until a later date. Monday and Tuesday Start-Up Activities planned for August 27th and 28th will continue as planned.  Our Grade 9 & 10 students may also come in Tuesday afternoon to organize their lockers.  We will take care of our Grade 8 students once we know what our school schedule will look like. Thank you for your understanding."

We are currently in the process of updating our website to include start-up information.  The ad posted here is in this week's Coast Reporter.

I am hopeful that the labour situation will be resolved soon so we can get back to our regular school routine.  Pertinent information will be posted here, as we have updated information. Superintendent Bocking has a letter to parents regarding our school start-up is at the top of the page.

Welcome to the Chatelech Secondary School website.  We hope that you take advantage of the information that is included here.

CSS, which is within the territory of the Sechelt Nation, is officially designated a B.C. Community School. We have an on-site homework club, a hot lunch program and a breakfast program.

I write regular posts on the  Principal's Blog , so if you want to get a sense of what went on at Chatelech this year just click on Principal's Blog on the left sidebar.

All the best.
